Opinions of Sigma 24-135 f/2.8-4.5 ??

I did a search on "24-135" and nothing came up, so I thought I'd start a new thread.

So, anybody use this lens and have an opinion on it's relative quality? It seems too fast with too long of a zoom to retail for under $300.
