Did I possibly post this much?.. I just noticed that I was at 4,000 posts.. a rather decent amount if you ask me, but still nowhere in the league of CDS, Dimitir, Dave or Ron.. Me-thinks I spend a lot of time on here..:D:D:D.. all good ofcourse, or mostly good...

Me thinks you spend more time than me, but have more meaningful posts. ;-) Quality, not quantity. You've been doing a good share of blabbing lately, as we all have. They build up quick discussing drinks, africa, and boys. :lol: 8)

I'm heading toward 10,000 myself, but I'll tell ya...the 9-10k stretch is the longest I've yet had. Seems to take forever! I've been out actually taking pictures lately, though. A rarity with me, before now. :p

I've slowed down, Sari. I put 5K on my first year:oops: but only 1800 in the last 10 months.

It doesn't mean I'm not paying as much attention, tho.;)

So so. The one is only a few times a month shooting performances, and the other is some concert photography. I also do a third job to afford more gear which is being the "caretaker" at the opera house I shoot at. Pays good, cuz the work sucks. But, I just "sing a song of six-L's" and laugh all the way. No bills, so that's why you'll see me adding some serious amounts of gear soon. I'm quite excited. How's your job going, Sari?

which one?.. the bartending is bartending... nothing too stimulating there.. but, my god. am I sick of memorizing french menus... as for shooting for the resort.. going well I think. I have a few more compositions that I need to get before snow settles but, our weather hasn't been the greatest lately.. they want a shot of the lake but, I keep waiting for still waters and some really great sunrise or sunsets.. so far no luck.. but, i'm not giving up yet..

Heck, my first couple of years here, I mainly just lurked and read the interesting posts. After a while, I just started answering the questions that had been up for a while that still needed answers, or did a little correction of mis-information. I've posted more in 2006 that in all the previous years I've been on this forum.

POTN is one of the best, if not the best, photography forums on the web. It's certainly the best of the Canon forums, and that makes it easier to post here.

I know what you mean, Sari! I just tripped over the 4k post count sometime in the last week or so myself. Don't remember when it happened! I was reading a thread about how meaningless post counts were and checked mine... woah! Guess I'm spending a fair amount of time here too!

And your posts are very often more about quality than quantity. You definately have a way with words!

I don't know. Maybe I talk too little. I am wondering if I will ever see 4,000 and I have been here close to 3 years.
