1D MKIIN arrived last week and I was finally able to put it through its paces. I am in love.
Anyway, a few pics from the final SCCA event of the year.

very nice indeed.
... i note varying focal lengths from 400mm to 500+ mm - any chance of some lens info, as i too am about to invest (hopefully) in the same body plus one long lens ?
many thanks in anticipation.

Lens is the Canon 100-400 and at times coupled with the Canon 1.4x teleconverter. One of the many bonus's of having the mkIIn is AF with teleconverter.
I've read mixed reviews on the 100-400 but having used it for a season almost exclusively I think it does a fantastic job and on this body it is fantastic. If you like to be creative and versatile I'm not sure their is a better motorsports lens in the Canon line.
Thanks for comments.
