? Difficulty with Avatar posting? Anyone else?

I've been trying to add an avatar photo to my profile yet even when my file size is 5k it still tells me it must be under 6k.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you also check to make sure that the resolution is no bigger than 80x80?
