Hi guys , base on your experince ... do u think it the combination 2x350d + 17-35mm f2.8-4 + 85mm f1.2 L mk2 + 580ex good enough to cover a church wedding with dinner??
Do i really need a tele zoom like 70-200 f2.8?

No u do not need a telephoto. Your equipment is more then enough.
I've shot a few weddings with no telephoto but u will find yourself lacking most of the time in the church. But really thats the only time I find myself needing a little more range.

I'd be a bit more worried about that range between 35mm and 85mm, than about the tele-zoom range. You've got a mighty big hole there. I spend a fair amount of time with my 28-75mm in the 40-55mm range. 35mm is just too wide for closeup people shots. You have to get in closer(perspective and linear distortions on facial features aren't good). And the 85mm is great to correct for that but you have to back up a bit to get more in the frame, and then you have people moving in and out of the frame on you.

i owned a 350d + 17-35mm f2.8-4 + 580ex + 28-75mm f2.8.
Choosing in between 85mm f1.2 L mk2 and 70-200mm f2.8 L IS which to be in on the top of my shopping list.....just decided and ordered for the 85mm instead of 70-200 f2.8 :)

That is a very poignant question.
For the same capital outlay, I would suggest a different package.
