Whatever you are you doing with your colors, I like a LOT. They really POP. (tell me, tell me)
I especially like the shadow on the 2nd photo.

I like them both, but would really like to see that first one without the fence.

Thanks for your comments, unfortunately the fence comes with the location. I thought about PS but decided to use it as a frame. With regards to the colour on the first shot I dabbled with blend modes and a bit of dodging and burning in PS until I was satisfied.

The first one is gorgeous. The fence, well, it might be cool if it wasn't there! - but the awesome saturation of the colors makes you notice it a heck of a lot less! The second one is nice but I think that I find the bright whites of the bench and the hydrant (?) distracting somehow. Still, fantastic use of color in both.
