Hi to all.

My A40 is almost celebrating 4years old and since last year, the focus has been not working that well.

When I am using the camera, if I move the camera a tiny little bit, everything in the photo will be unfocused and if I try to take a foto less than an "hands'" distance, the a40 won't focus at all.

So, this is very annoying.

Does anyone knows what this is and how to solve? It happens with every photo modes, with and without adjusting it in the more advanced modes (like M)

Thanks

I will try later on today to add a photo to show this "effect".

Thanks in advance.

Here goes an example.

And this happens with and without flash. I think it is somehow ,connected to the button to take the photos.

So, any clue?

Looks like motion blurrrrrr to me. The camera or something in the camera is moving when it should not. Please let us know when you find and correct the cause. I used Focus Magic and it can be corrected a little. But you do not need a camera with which you have to post process every picture. Good luck!!

Well, I think is some bad contact between the button and the mechanism that focus the lens...,but I don't have a clue how to solve this
