Hello, first post. I was sent here from another forum and wow there is some serious talent here. I shoot local indie bands in Ottawa, Canada. I shoot for fun. I've only had my camera for about six months now. I have a Rebel XT, 50mm 1.8, 28-135mm IS 3.5-5.6, and a 430 EX flash. I'll post some more later I've got to resize them for this site.
Cheers

Both images are gorgeous. In general it is nice if you put the artist and venue in the title. "New Guy" doesn't really do much for me ... I can see your post count ... but I don't even know what city these are from.

They're both good, but I really like the first one. Usually I wouldn't prefer a blurred image to a crisp image, but this one is neat. Good job.

Second pic is of "Jacquie In The Kitchen" taken at "The New Capital Music Hall"
Here are a few of Eastborough also from Ottawa

Very artistic. You do a great job with the "liquid" images rather than the usual "shutter drag" (I am notorious for disliking 99% of the 'shutter drag' images.) The last image is really nice. You might want to read the posting restrictions so you aren't suprised when the moderators drop around and delete your stuff ... I think it is only two embedded images so you're much better off to put them on a website and then link them in ... if you need help almost anyone in Performing Arts will lend a hand. Welcome.

Thanks for taking a look, and also for the heads up I'll stay within the regulations from now on. I appreciate the warm welcome, thank you.

Dang. Your pics are very good. I love them. Those are the kinds of photos that I am wanting to take. I really like your last image with the bass, and your favorite with the girl with the mic and the amazing lighting! What a shot!
