Can someone look at this photo and tell me if the skin tones look to red? I've been trying to correct the colors, tint ect in ACR but I find the colors flat - when I saturate the colors I find the skin tones too red. What else can I try?

Only you know what the real skin tone is, but in my calibrated monitor looks very good. Even the dog's tongue looks natural pink. You could up the contrast a tad for a little more pop but being careful not to blow up the details on the dog's hair.

Looks fine to me too, maybe could use a bit more red. My monitor's calibrated. In ACR choose the third tab and change it to strong contrast, I like that better than the contrast slider, sometimes use both tho.

The image is slightly overexposed and lacks density. The skin tones are more typical of Caucasian baby's skin with magenta ~ yellow. Thus its overly red appearance when you increase saturation. Adult skin tones would have yellow > magenta.
If you are working in Photoshop (work on a copy of original):
1. Add density: make a layer copy, set blending mode to "multiply", reduce opacity (~50%) and merge layer.
2. Adjust hues: make Hue/Sat adjustment layer, edit "Reds" and shift "hue" slider to right (about +2 to +4) to make reds more yellow.
3. Adjust overall satuation: on same H/S layer, edit "Master" and increase "saturation" slider to taste (+0 to +10).
For this lovely individual, the face should have hints of pink framed by honey-yellow blond hair - IMO.
I'm assuming this image is in sRGB color space, and so I assigned the sRGB profile. If it's an Adobe RGB image, the approach would be different.
The final result with slight sharpening:

That makes me feel better, I will try to add a little more contrast tonite. Thanks a lot.

The image is an adobe RBG image! I'm going to play with it again. I printed it and I find the face still a little too pink.

I thought the original Image was ok but then I saw your edit... I was really impressed. I think you did a bang up job. Talented PP there.

I like somewhere between the original and the edit... if I had to choose one i'd take the original.
