I have a Canon XTi and am new to photography. I want to shoot in RAW and edit in Photoshop but Photoshop CS2 will not open it because it says it is not the right kind of document. I have the Canon software that came with it but I came across a video: http://www.opensourcephoto.net/forum/index.php?showforum=79 The video is called Brige_RAW. Anyway this seemed pretty cool so I thought I would try it on photoshop.
Is there a plug in? Or am I stuck with Canon?
Thank You!
Chris:)

Go to Adobe's site (http://www.adobe.com/downloads) and download the latest version of ACR (v3.6).

You need the Adobe Camera RAW plugin to enable you to read RAW files in CS2.

No probs...
RAW is the way to go IMO, I find I actually do less PP work than i did with jpg, I find it's mainly WB adjustment that is so much easier.
