I took this picture to practice making a border in photoshop and then printing it on 4x6. I created the picture and borders in PSCS2 then merged all the layers together when done. Image size is 4x6. I goto "Print with Preview" slect paper size, layout and all. The picture shows perfect in the preview with border visible, and no cropping needed to fit media size.
Problem, I goto to print, and picture prints perfect, with out border on it, there is a hairline of the border in the top and left side of the paper.
What gives, any ideas.

This is the practice photo:

I get some slight cropping of my images when printing too.

I went in and once you select borderless in the Epson R380 it gives you an option of selecting the expansion of that borderless. I selected min, for the lest. It printed a border all around this time.

Now: I need to know how to create and calculate a 1/4 or 1/2 border on a 4x6. So that I do not waste paper till I get it right. My border is to thin still it is like a 1/16 or 1/32 border size.

I find the same thing, no idea why, it's one of the reasons I use a lab - they know what they're doing, whereas I have no idea when it comes to making the actual print.
