In this thread (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=207651) I asked about adding additional "large" photo sizes after the fact. Pekka indicated that it would be possible in EE 2.
Can someone give me a hint as to how I go about this? I've looked around in the admin area, and for the life of me I can't figure it out (which probably means it's right in front of me).
Thanks,
Paul

just from looking, and having an exhibit with several sizes other than the thumbs, it looks like you would do the following...
create the new size path in the PATHs editor
go to the photo editor
select the desired photo
at the bottom of the screen, find the "add size path to this photo" section
using the drop box, select the new size path and click the "ADD" button
in the new size path box that appears in the photo editing screen (at the bottom right above the "add size path" section), use the "upload (and replace with)" box to upload the (original) photo and resize it as needed
it may be possible to do this with several photos at once, but i don't know... as i sit and think about it, it would seem that you would
create the new size path
go to the upload section
upload the photo and select the new size path
and go from there
but second guessing myself, it also seems that that would create a new entry with the larger photo and not add one to an existing entry... i think i would go for the first one and do the labor if there aren't that many photos to work with... the definition of "not that many" is left up to you ;)
hope this helps!
oh! forgot to add, when i add a size path for additional sizes, i leave the thumbs and microthumbs section empty for that new addition in the PATHs editor... i also ftp server and resize methods in the thumbs and microthumbs entrys... maybe this photo will help to explain... the top two lines lines are the two main size paths... the second two are the thumbs paths... note how the second one is blank... that one corrosponds to what would be the thumbs path for the second size path...
make sense?

Hopefully there is a batch method of doing this. I have 2,500 photos in one database and 3,500 in another. One at a time is not really an option.
