This was taken as the sun had almost gone down but it was just catching them ,underexsposed by about a stop but pp to brimg it back then a bit of noisware ,it looks sort of 3Dish to me .
1dmk2 300f2.8isL 1/750 f2.8 iso200
Then i hung around a bit and used flash for the one comming into land same setup but flash and 1/250sec

I really like the tonal quality of that first shot. The size limitation here truly does not do this shot justice. Love the position of the wings and the colors of these guys. Nice work Rob!

First one is top class Rob - as with most of your shots. Second one doesn't do it for me to be honest - it looks like a plastic goose.

I'm with Damian, the first one is great. Superb lighting late in the day. The flashed goose is in a great pose but I think the harsh flash lighting kills it for me.

Like most of the others I think the first shot is fantastic. Not sure about the second as you seem to have got the goose equivalent of red eye !

Unfortunate about the noise & light on #2 but a great shot to see.

The second shot was only posted to show another aspect of some of the flash shots i take and are not shown for there merit as i dont think there technically good just a bit diffrent from the norm :)
