Beautiful Eyes...

I am looking for some techniques or tutorials on getting beautiful eyes through photoshop.

I shoot mostly by available light and often my subject eyes are just dark blobs.

Layer mask a seperate layer just for the eyes. From there you can do just about anything you want to them. Curves works well for my uses. This is a bad example because I wasn't trying to make anything look natural but I guess it shows how far you can push things if you want.

That was done using only the curves tool, and a seperate layer for the eyes. If you back it off a bit it can look as natural as you want.
