I'm in the process of having a friend create my website, which I will then add to my newly created Yahoo! domain. However, I am not quite sure how everyone handles setting up a proof page to forward to clients. I have seen it done where you just email a link and they can view all their proofs, and it is not part of the actual website itself. How does everyone else do this, and how do you handle taking an actual order from the client as well? Do you have a separate order form? Any help would be appreciated!!

Hi Tracy. In my other reply to your post about posing children for holiday shots, I listed my site. This is actually the website I use for my proofing. There is no charge to utilize it and I think it's great. You could provide a link on your new website that would take your clients to this one.
You also have the option of utilizing this company for orders and prints. I do not, as they charge a % for commission and that's not how I chose to approach it. I merely tell my clients to note the proof #, size and quantity they want, email that info to me and I order the prints through the lab of my choice.
