American Basin (SW Colorado) Stream Fall

I took this shot this past summer in the Colorado San Juan Mountains. Although the wildflowers are beautiful the third week in July, this small stream just below timberline (11,000 feet) was too pretty to walk by and not capture. Enjoy.

Very nice! Love the wildflowers. Did you conciously choose that aperture to have the background/foreground out of focus?

I did take that into consideration, just wanted to get the stream and the flowers in front in focus.

Nice one, Claudia. I think American Basin is one of my favorite spots in the San Juans, at least in July.
