Problem with file nos. with D60

I just got back from a cruise and was transferring my files to my computer, when I discovered a big skip in the file numbers. The file numbers skipped from 6121 to 6301. I have no explanation for this. I don't think I am missing any pictures, just the missing file nos. Have any of you ever had this problem. This is the first time this has happened to me.

Were you using a single CF card, or multiple ones?

You might mention the details of how you transfer image files to your computer and exactly how/when you noticed the numbering skipped.

Hi Bob,
I was using multiple cards. I noticed the missing file nos. before I transferred the images to my computer. Could this be caused by using multiple cards. Had not thought about this, since I thought the camera kept up with the numbers.
