Hey guys
I came across this photo on a forum and thought it was one of the best that I have seen in quiet a while. Can anyone tell me what lighting techniqui was used to accomplish this, or is this just photoshop.
Thanks

It looks like it was done in PS or another program. Its not a photo.

I wonder if there is a way to setup some kind of lighting to mimic this. Pretty sure the level of satisfaction would be much higher if that's the actual photo as opposed to it being a photoshop.

That is classified as 'digital art' and not 'photography'.
Cool, but still not photography

I don't know if it could be recreated as a photo - the "flames" are very intense all flamable liquid burn vapour only so to get that degree of flame you'd need a low burning point which would give of huge amounts of smoke and carbon which would blacken the glass very fast - also the liquid you poured in would need to be inert not water has you'd cause a flash back - after recovering from 2nd and 3rd degree burns to my hands last year i'd not reccomend this! - but it looks "real" and beliveable at first glance so yep i'd say it was a good image :)
