This is a shot I did about 1 month ago. It was 5 shots that I stitched together in Photoshop. All constructive comments welcome.

The contrast from left to right is too great! The photo is beautiful but the sun is just all wrong there. I would not include the leftmost picture if i were you for the before mentioned reason and also because its got a tone that is totaly diferent from the others.
Anyway, either remove the leftmost or the rightmost but both in the same dont look right imho.

I agree. The washed out portion (white sun) detracts from the orange glow on the castle. Without the sun (or washed out portion) the castle is a nice shot. I would suggest cropping out most of the washed out portion.

When including such a high contrast (beyond the sensors capability to record) you need to previsualize your results and shoot accordingly. Do you want to shoot for shadows, or highlights. If you plan on recording both, you need to shoot two exposures (1 for shadows, and 1 for hightlights) and combine them, or shoot for the highlights and edit the shadows up to regain the texture in them.

GORGEOUS!!!

Absolutely stunning!!!

The washed out highlight on the left is sooo minor when you look at the grandeur of this photo.

Anyways, good shot.
