When recording short movies and panning
across near say an overhead light source a
strong purple vertical line appears from top
to bottom of the scene disecting through the
light source, this effect can be seen when
taking single pics, the effect can be seen
in the LCD display but they don't appear on
the image. It is only movies. another
example was a night movie of fireworks, in
the distace the street light caused the same
purple line from top to bottom. a final
example is while recording near 3 tea light
candles , this caused the same "purple line"
problem.are there any A640 users seeing the same effect , can someone try a short movie panning across say a candle (not too close :-)
