Lovely photo, and it would be even better if you cropped out that feeding basket (or whatever) at the right.

I feel it's very emotive. Like a shoulder to lean on type of story. Yes, crop out the feeder/cage and maybe tone down the sun a little. Harsh lighting during the day really bites...so maybe a circular polarizer will work to help that.
