Someone has a sense of humor. What sport would this be?

Almost as funny as the ice cream truck....was this part of the same exhibit?

Yep - Sculptures by the Sea.
I thought I would leave this one for a while - see if anybody thought it was real.

They had hidden speakers with grunting noises (simulate a player serving)

Sense of humour was a big part of the exhibition :)

Looks like a court for narrow-minded buggers...

Did you enter any of your pictures in the Kodak challenge?

Your images have captured the humor part very well...and the thought of a sound track at that tennis court is hysterical. Thanks for sharing the pics and the story.

LOL. Good one. No , I did not enter that comp. I might go back get some more - the icecream truck and the pedestrian crossing button on the beach get good spectatcor interaction. It would be great to get someone actually trying to play tennis on the court :)
Did you see the icecream truck?

edit: Of course you did. Just realised this is the post with only one pic...
I'd say the icecream truck will be a definite for "public favourite"

Thanks , and you're welcome.

The icecream truck has icecream truck music playing , but it's all sort of wobbly (melted music) :)

The Kodak challenge shots already have one with two people pretending to play tennis on that court. Looks ok - not too flash - you could probably get a few people to stage a better shot - add some spectators doing the tennis look...

POTN members with a KODAK slogan painted on their bare chests..hmmm

There are some good reactions as people hear the grunts from the hidden speakers too .

Maybe I should have entered...
I don't get much satisfaction out of just shooting somebodyelse's artwork.
Most people's icecream truck will be just blown out to the max :)
I like mine with the the dark background / people. I tried one where I dodged the people to brighten their faces etc , but without it I think you just get drawn to the truck itself.

Best pics I reckon woiuld be with the 400 , getting people interacting with exhibits, but then I'd need releases and risk getting hassled for being a perv
