Still no colour to be seen anywhere near me; so had to resort to a long drive over the week-end to get some... Quite pleased with these two...
Hope you enjoy. Feel free to C&C...
Cheers;

Hi Guys;

Thanks for looking...

Unfortunately #1 looks to have lost a lot on compression... The original is crystal clear on my screen - but not this!

What's not to like about Autumn - even in The Netherlands? I've spent a great deal of time in Rotterdam over the years, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that WINTER is definately NOT a time to be there. It's b****y freezing!!!

Thanks Anthony. These were taken at Westonbirt Arboretum; just south of Cirencester... had to go all the way down there to see some colour. Despite what the weather men promised us, it's just not going to happen around our way... Leaves are falling faster than they can turn colour! C'est la vie...

Winter draws on!

Cheers;

Lee

Beautiful shots Lee, I presume these are some type of maple? It's amazing the color variations of these trees from year to year and from different parts of the world. Ours are only just now beginning to show a slight yellowing.

Hi Trent;

Thanx for the comments...

Yes - they're Japanese Maples; and you're dead right about the colour variations. On this same trip, I got shades of rust, golds, yellows & reds - all Maples... If only they produced the syrup here :lol: .

Cheers;
