Very nice, it's amazing how much bigger the F 15 is than the P47 Thunderbolt

Nice and crisp, but ouch!!, 1/3200 shutter speed. 1/250 max, or that P-47 will drop out of the sky.

I get the same feeling when I see frozen props, it's like nails on a chalkboard. Bring the shutter speed down, practice the panning, your results will be that much better.

Think it' has all been said! I learnt the hard way re. shutter speed. 3 CF cards full of useless shots due to the shutter speed being far too high. Aircraft ended up looking like airfix models!

I was actually trying to stop the prop- I wish I hadn't. How do you do a slow shutter speed when it is too bright out to get a correct exposure? Filters? I don't have filters for all my lenses yet.

No filters. The camera meter will figure it out. Or just dial in exposure compensation. Shoot in Tv mode. 1/250 shutter speed or slower. The camera will pick the aperture.
