Here are a few shots recent shots from my daughter's soccer games. All were shot with a Canon 24-70 f2.8L, my only lens. All have been cropped at least somewhat in order to help make up for the short focal length. Comments and critique would be appreciated.

#1 - The focus was a little behind the action and I was shooting directly into the sun, but I like the action in the shot.

Looks like a good soccer game to me...The action shots are representative of a lot of effort and continuous game momentum...

So you get a wider view than you would with longer lenses...These look sharp enough for some trimming and enlarging...

At least you're getting real good camera experience with good results before this short season of some home games ends.

Now you'll have results to ponder over the entire next year...
