These are two photos I took with a friend's A70 just before I bought my G3 last summer. I was realy impressed with its performance...

What do you guys think of both photos?

First shot is very good. The composition, light, tones, reflections all work nicely toguether. Well done
As for the second, its too underexposed. The composition could be better as the treetop details being so dark, add nothing to the photo, quite the oposite as they are distracting of the beautiful sun. Other than that i think its a nice photo. You might be able to improve it by tweaking with levels and croping just above the sun. try it out.
Using the A70 is great, from experience i used an A60 for a couple of month and it was an amazing machine. If you plan on getting one, try out www.nomatica.pt as it is the cheapest place in PT to get one.

VG shots on both accounts.......

The first shot........the person in the boat in between the "V" of that tree is a little distracting........maybe clone it out?? I am also not a big fan of the girl silhouette connected to the tree........it seems as if she is an abnormal extension of the tree root.......maybe a little step to the left and she becomes her own silhouette.

The second shot is better composed in my opinion......I like :-)

Thanks for sharing..

Hi B.

Use the clone stamp tool. It should be right below the healing brush.

Pick a feathered brush around the size of the area you want to clone out. Hold down the 'alt' key (notice the cross between your round brush when you do this) and position the cursur around an area you want to use to cover the distracting area (in this case, position it on the water).

Let go of the 'alt' key and paint over the distracting area (in this case, the person on the boat).

Voila!! its now a patch of water!!!

Let me know if you have any difficulty :-)

Oh, and before you start, make sure to duplicate the original image so your photo is safe. :-)
