Something about this guy jumped at me while walking thru the kitchen. I just had to get my camera.

He's cute! I like the comp in #2, but it seems to have a color cast.

I agree with Athena, there seems to be an unnatural color balance on the white egg.
But the composition in 1 has more to say with it sitting on a coil.

For the first shot i set a custom WB. Then my cat was going nuts over some birds at our feeder so i changed back to AWB trying to get a decent shot of her, and didn't set it back to custom before the next. The color cast is probably from the VERY old bulb gaurd over the stove. Well that my stove is an ivory color which could account for some of it. I havn't finished playing with my timer yet, so i'll post some more pictures soon.

ok now that I look at it it's a bit cold. should of spent more then 2 secs. LOL
