I have only recently set up EE to use the FTP re-size system. The FTP server is set-up and the tests work. The re-size methods are set-up and their tests work. The paths are set-up and re-size methods selected.
I have images in the upload folder that I put there with an FTP client. I selected the images I want (step 2 on Upload page), I select the the path and associated resize that I want (step 3 on the Upload page), then press the Upload button. The thumbs & microthumbs are created and put into the correct folders, the two size photos (medium & large) are moved to their respective folders (as shown in the paths) - but...they are not re-sized. They remain the original size.
I have checked the grahic modules are installed and ran all tests sucessfully, I have checked the re-size methods and ran all tests sucessfully, I have made sure that there is a re-size method selected on the path set-up page. Everything seems to be set up correctly. Thumbs and microthumbs are being created from the original image and moved to the correct location. Two copies of the original image are being moved to the correct location as specified in the paths - they simply are not being re-sized for some reason.
I am using 1.5 beta with fixpack 1, I have chosen to use the Imagick library for re-sizing. I am going to try using the GD library after I post this message.
Any thoughts??

Edit: I just tried changing one of my re-size methods to use the GD library instead of Imagick and the re-size worked fine from the Upload page- no other changes were made except that. I would consider that Imagick is not installed correctly by my ISP but when I test the re-size by Imagick on the re-size method page the test image is properly re-size so I can only assume that it is installed correctly. ???
