I want to get a flash bracket for use with my 430EX, I'll be using it with my soon to be 30D :) . How much are those flash shoe extenders, or does it come built into the bracket? And what's a good bracket to purchase?

The off shoe cord is about $50 bucks. I got myself a delta flip flash bracket. You can find them on B&H. I use it mostly for macro shots, but I'm sure it will work well in almost any set up. If you get the smaller bracket, the whole set up with the cord shipped is under $100

Matt,
Whenever you ask a "How much does this cost" type question, it helps to know where you're located. ;)
If you're in the US, you can probably find a Promaster TTL cord for Canon at local camera shops. I've been told it's built better than the Genuine Canon Off Camera Shoe Cord 2. I have two of the Promaster cords and they work fine.
A forum search for "flash bracket" will yield a plethora of threads on the topic. The Stroboframe brand is popular and economical. There's a million different ones out there.

Ugh...flash brackets...have fun with shopping for those.
Mknabster (Mcnabb-ster?) what kind of photography do you do? Do you do it as a career or just a smaller hobby?
How much are you willing to spend on a flash bracket?
They can range from $70-$300, it's nuts. I myself have a Stroboframe Camera Flip, decided I didn't wanna spend a whole lot, so I got it. Haven't USED it yet, but I have set it up, and haven't found many real problems w/ it. May be that the camera can't lock into place, but w/e.

Custom bracket built like a tank but requires a small government with a broad tax base to pay for it and Stroboframe CameraFlip built just about right for my thin, moth-eaten wallet.
