Ok, can you put this software on 2 computers if they are both yours. ie, desktop and laptop. I know there are rules, and you cant let anyone else use the software but what about 2 of your own computers?

I think this same question came up once before and someone had pointed out that the license is worded to indicated that, yes, you can put it on two PCs. But, if you already have the software, it's best to read the license yourself to make sure you'll still be in compliance if you do that.

Dont know about the US but in the UK is is definately on one computer only, one reason I now have XP loaded on an external firewire HD with CS on that.

Chris,
Are you sure ? I've read me licence agreement and it does say it can be installed on two machines as long as only one copy is used at a time. They specifically outline the desktop and laptop scenario.
Cheers

In fact, they're pretty reasonable about it. I installed it on my desktop PC and laptop when I first received it. Then I installed it on the new laptop when it arrived. I had to call Adobe and assure them that I'd removed it from the old laptop, but that was all there was to it. I had to go through the same drill with Microsoft OFfice----same result.
