Great dog shot. What she/he just in some water prior to this shot? I was wondering if that was water spray off to our right side there. Awesome looking dog too, and I'm not a dog person. :)

Nina thanks you for your comment and tells that it is not water, but just sand due to her running.

Having a dog who loves to run (or used to anyway before the ravages of arthritis set in) I know how difficult these shots are. You did very well. I like it very much.

The only thing that would make this shot a touch better is a bit of dodging on the left side of the dog's head (um, dog's right) or maybe a fill flash.

This is the reason why I posted it. My dogs are my main subjects (but she is the most photogenic - does this word exist in english? :wink: ) and, over a million (or so...) shots, I got only a very very few good ones...
