Western friend tell me same thing about crossing street. It is art to him. First thing he learn is not make quick move or run.

Not all Chinese understand how cross street too. I have picture of man almost hit by bus when he run.

You want bet? You need experience Chinese Taxi driver!Yes. I have taken, perhaps, 50 taxi rides in Suzhou and 10 in Shanghai (usually have a driver in Shanghai), and have been involved in 2 taxi/bicycle collisions -- more than 3%.

Whenever I cross the street, I try to do it in a crowd of local citizens and follow their lead :) .

I never really think about it until it happen and make me want shoot streets and people. Always shot studio or newpaper with film but shoot street interest me a lot now. .. Studio and wedding very pretty but alweays know what you get in end. You shoot street and you surprise many time.

Maybe I get old but I laugh more when I shoot street. Crossing street in my city require skill and coperate with others. Other wise you have problem.
