Passing Of Helmut Newton

Just thought I would take a minute to note the death of Helmut Newton, a famous photographer who pushed the envelope and created some very fine images. He was most famous for his fashion photography (pronounced 'nude'), but he produced many non-nude images as well. I don't know his equipment leanings, but anyone who advances the art the way he did should be acknowledged.

I would have to add that he was one of my all-time favorite photographers and I always remember a few of his earlier pictures in a photography book I saw as a kid. I have always wanted my pictures to have the same caliber of artistic creativity that his did and I will continue to strive for that.

I did not know him, but I could almost always recognize his photography.
His work will be missed :cry:
