Gallery Order (TEMPLATE DESIGN)

Hi!
I know that I read somewhere about this problem, but I can't find that thread anymore!
I apologise for repeating it.
I enumerated my galleries (10, 20, 30...) to force showing them on index page in a particular order. But the index page is always showing them in some awkward order (not even gallery ID). Did I miss some setting?
Would be very grateful for any help!

I think you're referring to the new "column style" that Pekka introduced with 2.0. Have a read of this:

which offers a solution to put it back to the old format.
