Can anyone give me a clue how to photograph Flying Bats at night. Will a search light work? or will that scare then away?

Infra-red?

Are you talking "in flight" or "just hanging around waiting for something to happen" - like a photographer to walk past?

Hi TJ yes in flight at night, I plan to visit my daughter who is spending a year in India. She tells me at night the bats fly around her swimmimg pool. Infra-red gear I dont have.
