The link provided below should be of interest to some members here as it contains images of what appear to be micro-spiders . And as you view the images it shows on most shots why it isent the best idea to use a ring-flash :) ...

Amazing collection for ID purposes- see what you mean about the ringflash though- slightly flat pics and those nasty eye reflections- but excellent pics all the same.

Actually this has jogged my memory- would be useful to have a sticky thread of good sites for ID purposes or even to threads here with good ID info- what do you think ?

Yes i think it would be a good idea - an personally i dont know why they dont make you a moderator of this forum as you are actually the Macro Photo-Lord of the Year 2006 - then you could add your own sticky threads :) ...

Impressive list but far too many images on one page and they should ideally open in a new window. Better quality images than you get on many such sites.
This guy has a handy site for UK insects and has recently improved his photos by using those of another photographer.
