Wandered by the Canon Service Centre in Montreal today with my 10D figuring that I would have to leave it in order for them to expell the dust bunnies that have taken up residence. Had a couple of bad spots that I was too chicken to swab off and decided to let Canon hace a swipe (no pun intended) at them.
Explained the problem to the really nice lady behind the counter and showed her a couple of frames I had printed with thei960. She handed me a piece of paper to fill in some info on and said she would be back soon. 10 minutes later she came back with my baby and handed it to me with a smile and a "Have a nice day and bring it in any time you think it should be cleaned" No charge.
Spots gone.
That friends is service.
