Selective display of sizes based on user auth?

I would like to set up a public where only small (and maybe medium) sized images are visible. If and when the user logs in, the same gallery would also display large sizes of the same photos. How can I do this?

I've not tried it, but in the User Editor section of the admin page there's a box labeled "ALLOWED PRIVATE SIZE PATHS". Is that anything to do with what you want?

Thanks, maybe that is the answer. My "Allowed private size paths" field is empty, though, and it's unclear how I can add anything to it. Do you know how to add a path?

There is a tick box in path editor.

Thanks, Pekka. After I ticked the box in path editor, the size paths bdo show in the User editor, but I cannot save the selection -- ie. I select them, but after I save the user they are still unselected. Can you please suggest a fix?
