LA Peace March - Peace Flags by Kids.

There is a grass roots group called Peace Flags by Kids (http://www.peaceflagsbykids.org/) that provides an environment for children to foster their artistic energies to call attention to the need for world peace. It is a great organization as this raises their social awareness and introduces them to the idea of global citizenship.

Among the almost 10,000 that were at the LA March for Peace, the Peace Flags by Kids were represented. I got several shots, but these are the first that I processed.

A word about processing, for MOST purposes, I find the Medium JPG generated by the 5D to be perfectly fine. However, because of the harsh daylight on this day, shadows were too dark and lighted areas were too bright. That meant multiple RAW processes to get anything resembling an adequate dynamic range. The time involved is why I have only a couple as of yet.

In any event, the first is one of the organizers, and the second is one of the kids.

Nothing helps to get a point across more than exploiting kids to do it. ;)
