The second on the other hand is lovely

Now i can :?: :?: :?:
Classic theme: I prefer the second one. More simmetry is better looking in this case.
Thanks for sharing

I definataely like the 2nd shot more. I think it's the symetry in it that doese it but the slight downer is, it could be more symetrical. I wonder if especially, those two near benches could look identical. It's a good photo but it doesn't leap at me. Having said that, I'd be pleased if I took it!

I also think the second photo is much better than the first especially because of the composition (agree with timmyquest). Apart from that, wouldn't you consider increasing the contrast in the first? And also, the lower right corner of the photo is a bit too dark...

I like the overall job!

I like the first shot but i like the second a lot more. When posting both one cannot help comparing and the first one comes out looking not that good. But thats only because of the second.
I was just wondering if the site in the first shot isnt just a few meters paralel to the left of the site where you took your fine "city on fire" shot . Just curious.

Since no. 2 was the general favorite, I decided to increase the whiteness of the snow.............

Here is the result.....

Now there seem to be no difference between the sky and ground....

Is it much better??
