I'd be really interested in what anyone has to say about these. There's a before and after. Quite a bit of photoshopping. Comment on anything but I am particularly interested in the cropping. I have been very nervous about cropping shots that depart from the regular rectangle and this one is a definate departure from that. I know there are weaknesses in the lighting but whatever, bring it on!

You have chosen the correct path to B&W.........I think it added to the photograph........Correcting the level balance on the face was also a VG move.

I think you have cropped too much though....... The intial composition was just fine.

My 2 1/2 cents.

BTW..........the mood of the photograph is great. Nice capture.

Oki, There is a thousand ways to crop an image depending on what you want to say with the picture...

I think that the cropping on the leftside of the image is good, but I want little more space on the right side, the edge is to close to the finger.

There is a good movement in the picture. Nice pic :D

Both look great, but my eye seems to go toward the tight crop B&W. it almost reminds me of a banner ad. Im expecting text to pop saying im a winner.

Very cool.. 8)

Thanks everyone. I suppose cropping is one of those things that you can get wrong but it's difficult to tell when it's right if you get me...

Anyway, I appreciate you taking the time and will play with the croppin' a bit more.
