Are more book and magazine publishers beginning to accept digital images for use? With the ever-increasing popularity of digital photography, particularly by professional photographers, I would think digital photos would be preferred. If the majority of publishers currently want submissions in film/slide format, will they eventually switch their preferences to digital? Thanks in advance!

Watch the Super Bowl on Sunday, most of the cameras there will be digital.

Did you see how many Canon digitals were present during the after game shots? I was pleased to see so many DSLRs and big white lenses.

Newspapers have used digital for about 10 years so this is not really a new thing. The majority of photographers at the Super Bowl were newspaper.

If the picture is of good quality and the subject is what is needed, the ones I've talked to will use either digital or film.
