View Full Version : Damn and blast!!! my Cameras broke

ok this is a bit late as it broke acouple of weeks ago, ive got a S2 and the cross hair on the back that controls all the features (focus, Fstop etc) has sort of stopped working less than 6 months from getting it. the left and down parts of it just simply wont work and that tactile "click" isnt there any more, i couls shoot in auto and still get good results but it was weird not being able to control the focus like i wanted to.

well ive just sent the camera off to Colchester Camera Repairs as thats the closest Canon approved repairers in the UK to me, its getting done under warrenty.

i just cant work out why it happened, it just stopped one day, it hasnt been dropped etc and it lives in the LowePro bag i got for it except when im taking pics,

oh well a couple of weeks with out a camera, i dont know what im going to do now.

you can catch up on your PP. I know that I have more than enough to keep me busy for more than a couple of weeks...

woohoo got my camera back today, it all seems to work fine, very impressed with the speed of the turn around, 6 days

Nice one Craig... Now you're going to have to get down to that car dealership and work out how your polarizing filter works!! :)

Errrmmm nothing,:D im trying to teach my self CS2 i played a bit though and learnt abit

Ya know, I always have them good intensions as well. I was without my camera several times throughout the summer and each time I had thought. “Why, I can get caught up with xxxx”. Then the camera came back and whatever xxxx was, was still in the same shape as before. I attributed it to post-photographic depression.:D
