Hi, great site.
I started out with the canon s100, but after seeing the g1 pics posted, I just had to get one. Couldn't resist.

About the only thing better than taking photos, is having someone else enjoy them.

See ya

Thanks alot for posting, I am enjoying!!;)
Pick out your favorite and imbed it in your next post. You will find the instructions under help above. Use the img with the square brackets, put your picture link in between and SHARE!

Your pictures with the sunsets/sunrises in them are especially liked.

Hope your enjoy your G1 as much as I do!

Here is one of my favorite sunsets of Tulsa(from about 180 miles):D

Thats a great shot. I tell ya, the g1 can do some amazing things in the right persons hands. I tried some sunrise pics today and decided to use manual focus only, setting it to infinity each time. I didn't get the results I wanted though. Anyone have some tips?

Well, I am not qualified to give you advise on Sunrises. I try not to be awake at that time of day!!:eyes But sunsets are a different, still no expert but lots of practice. My approach to this study is to use the bracketing and a tripod. tripod allows me to compose the picture and forget that. Then I try to get a sampling of different exposures. Set the bracketing 1 step then will use the Av for 3 shots, then Tv for 3 shots. This results in 18 photos of the same picture. {DIGITAL IS GREAT} Hopefully you will get at least one good picture. Sometimes you get very lucky as I did in the picture above. The best exposure just happen to have a dove in it as well. Bet you thought I planned that.:p

Hope this helps you get that great shot. When you do please post it.
