Hey all,
When I look at this site and other sites online, when they load, they will "filcker" very fast. I don't know how to fix it. It's both AOL and SBC. Any ideas? My eyes are killing me
thank-you

ACDCROCKS,
My guess is its your monitor or monitor settings? ???
I don't see flickering on this site at all.

It's fine on my end. Usually flickering is your monitor's refresh rate. Now I don't have AOL or SBC either so it could be an issue with them. Is this the only site with the problem? Do you only have the flickering online (try playing a decent game)?

I have both AOL and SBC, and I have no issues of 'flicker'. Seems like monitor settings rather than DSL service, as once the HTML is sent from wherever into your PC, it is entirely your PC displaying the HTML. not reliant on some constant refresh rate from the internet provider.

It's on all sites. How do I change my monitor settings?
thanks

Start, Contol Panel, Display, Settings in Windows classic view.

Start, Control Panel, Appearance and Themes, Display, Settings in Windows XP category view.

It also might be the refresh rate setting for the monitor itself that had gotten changed, and for that you have to rely upon the instructions specific to your monitor and how to change the settings.
