New 10D, 1st printed Picture

I am new here with a new camers. Took lots of practice shots then this. It only took 20 or so shots. As most know cats just don't like their pic taken.
Lets see if it works.

I'm not sure about this...........I think the background might be a bit too similar..........Would've preferred a bit more contrast.
