If your PT is anything like what they did to me at the hospital yesterday - go back! It was incredible.
That ultrasound massage is magnificent, isn't it??
I wasn't too fond of the self induced electrical shock therapy, but it did wonders as well.

Hey...if you are talking about a TENS unit...those things are sweet once you get them properly adjusted...just need to make sure that someone hasn't cranked the intensity on you!

Yeah a TENS thing but not one I got to bring home- one of those industrial strength ones. I had to buzz myself and keep increasing the intensity for 30+ min sessions. It did make me feel much better.

Nice avi wool

Tupperware rocks, but we got these huge containers and they most definitely make a fa*t when sealed. Lots of fun to do it slowly. Kind of reminds me of Granny when she would get out of her Lazyboy. Kids couldn’t help but laugh.

First, there are some things that are just not meant to be shared.:p

Second, "teaching you a lesson" can happen in many ways. I have generally found that honey works better than vinegar to get some people to do what you want. Of course there are some incorigibles that need a stick and others you just want to whale the tar out of for good measure.

Third-refer to the Old Dog/New Tricks Theorem. Perhaps the Porcine Tonality Principle may make more sense here: Never try to teach a pig to sing. YOu waste your time and it just annoys the pig. ;)

Of course, if you want to hash this out in a vat of warm buttered noodles, you know where you can find me:D

Especially not after she has just taught class and dominated a faculty meeting on assessment! I was primed for BS! lol

...bring out the noodles! (but not too deep!)
Noodles are more approprite for fall and winter comptetitions.
Now if this were summer, Jell-o would be appropriate, however green will never do. Mud is also an appropriate summer medium and it is good for the skin.
as for the deep end, sis. . . it is time to sink or swim!

Dark chocolate is to die for, but even that regular stuff is fine. None of that sugar free stuff though. It's just not right.

BTW, it would be better if you’d let it set up for a few hours and let that skin form. I have no idea what the heck that skin is but its delicious.

Check out the POTN Activities Forum then - we're working on a Chinese New Year Parade shoot along with someone's trying to get a meet at the Auto Show. Also there's someone else over by Wheaton Plaza.

ooooooh dark chocolate....

my grandfather used to work in a confectionary factory and he regularly brought back bags full of BIG lumps of chocolate... (they would scrape the sides inside the machine after they melted a batch and fill plastic bags to take home for the kids.) I bet nowadays tho they would get sacked for stealing.. in those days it was a perk of the job...

I grew up living on dark chocolate :)

I use to hate the stuff. I think it stems from an event when I was a kid. I loved to grab a spoon and just scoop out Nestles Quick. We ran out of Quick but had this Nestles dark chocolate. Well in went the spoon, scooped out a heap and popped it into my mouth. Instantly all moisture was sucked from my head. My tongue turned into a quivering fleshy slug as I tried to expel the most bitter chalky foul tasting substance I had ever tasted. I guess it was powered dark baking chocolate or something. Came in a very dark brown can. Anyway, now years later and with that painful memory buried deep, I can’t seem to get enough of the dark chocolate.

Um, I lied, it wasn't those guys although that would have made a really great story. It was a telephone guy. One of my college housemates had an um… affinity to augment his brownies. We all knew better and stayed away, but the phone repair guy was evidently not enlightened and seeing them on the counter while fixing our kitchen phone snuck a few. Never did get to see the outcome but I am pretty certain he was in a very good mood for the rest of the day. How did we know it was the phone guy? Well Mr. Brownie augmenter was pi**ed as hell that someone ate about ½ of his brownies and we know it wasn’t us. :D

Hi, everyone! I finally made it home after a crazy day. I have to admit, I am ready for pizza tonight, but I promised my son chicken & broccoli. Yum. Or I'll have to ask my hubby if he wants to drive to the Thai place and get dinner because I'm tired.

Never smelled burning BO. ick.
smells like sage burning. When I smudged my office at the old school I got turned by custodial staff in for inhaling on campus grounds. All the while my supervisor at that time was inhaling away in her office at the other end of the hall.

Wasn't a prof- I was working as a functional analyst then - developing software. The soc dept housed the grant that paid my salary so we officed there. was nice for that year I took off grad school. still kept my connection to the dept and sat in on classes on occasion.

hate to tell you this though- I know lots of faculty who inhale. I remember a big shot from an Ivy League school sitting on my hotel bed at conference inhaling his goodies and sharing with anyone who came in the door and wanted to. I even knew several who hd nice little closet gardens. lol

I don't know. I think i'll stay here for awhile.. a couple more months maybe.. unless I feel like leaving.. I'm going to try to stay put. we shall see.. my schedule has changed for the better and my job as well as one of my bosses attitude.. I don't know.. attempts are being made to make my work environment better so I feel like I should give it a fair chance.. and then ofcourse the summer season coming up which is incredibly lucrative.. time will tell.

No one can tell me what to do and how to do it, I'm a volunteer for the clubs. It's a lot of work, but I remember my college days, how some professors worked their tails off and didn't get tenured. Office hours, grading exams, etc. I found out from a new friend that professors are now rated by students. What is that all about? I honestly think students have too much say in how things should be run and don't want to work hard to get a good grade. Grad students think they should get A's without working hard. My brother in law is a fantastic chemistry professor but lost funding in his lab so he is looking for work. It's awful out there. I hope you are enjoying your job and getting time to shoot.

Puddle would LOVE that...you should invite him for dinner ;)

Good thing I didn't tell him about what I was cooking yesterday evening as we were chatting!

Sorry! We just had an All-Mod callout for a post where someone mentioned MDJAK, PetKal, duck, Noink, MOO and crop factor all in one sentence. The mind not only boggles, but actively reels.

WHOA!!!

Did MDJAK and Petkal finally get together for the big duck shootout contest they were planning on organizing down by the lake where the ducks moo and the cows quack, but using NOINK's this time as the surprise secret weapon in order to get a bit more reach using the 1.5X crop factor?

I'm missing out!!

If you, Ron, and Puddle ever got together in the same room, it would be truly intimidating!

Actually, I don't think I'm intimidating at all. Maybe on that off chance when I get really, really mad, but otherwise...
Tis fun not being a little feller sometimes. :D

Between you and Ron, I would be the little guy. I'm only 5'8".... what I lack in height, I make up in girth.

I even knew several who hd nice little closet gardens. lol

I remember when I was a kid and my family went over to visit one of my cousins, who is quite a bit older than me. All the grown ups were in the living room, talking grown-up talk which left me and my other cousin, who was my age, free to roam around. I still remember opening up one of the closets and wondering, "Who in the world would grow such big ferns in a closet? Look, they even have lamps to help it grow. That's so weird...." My cousin, not wanting to explain anything to the naive me, opted to just close the door quietly and say, "They're just a little strange that way. Let's not speak of this, OK?"

Manly? Like, "Hey, let's go kill some Elk with just a couple of rocks!" or, "I just had my whole head ripped off by that combine. But I'm OK. I just put it back on with duct tape." or, "I think that girl who's old enough to be my daughter thinks that my middle aged, cholesterol ridden, fat infused body is hawt." or, "No, no. Put three whole jalapenos on my sandwich. I can take it." or, "Don't let this pear shaped appearance fool ya. I can bench press a Buick. Really." or, "Women will swoon when I drive up in my fully loaded, high horse powered, chromed out, NASCAR approved, barely street legal Pinto." or, "I don't eat vegetables. I get all the nutrition I need from pork rinds and beer."

Is that what you mean by manly? 'Cuz I'M THERE! I'M ALL OVER THAT!
