Thanks for the compliments. I shot these with a 20D set to AV, ISO 1600, Aparature on 2.8---A dark gym and fast-paced sports action usually don't equal good pics from the fan seats). Used Neat Image to reduce a little noise (not bad for ISO 1600) and CS2's USM on a couple to sharpen them up a tad. Glad you think they are worth looking at.

Did you not catch any grief from the staff bringing in a lens that large? Kinda hard to sneak that rig into a game.

Great shots, btw. My extended family are all die-hard Razorback fans. If their hoops season matches their FB season, it will be a grand year in Fayetteville.

No grief at all. All cameras (no flash) are welcome. And I don't think the hog's basketball year will not match their football year. They have a lot of young talent, but not too much in the coaching area. IMHO

As a Michigan State fan, I'd love to see Stan do well down there.

I would assume you would want the IS off when you are moving the lens around a lot?

Or does it still help?

Just don't switch it to #2. It helps.

Keep it on. Use AI Servo, too.

Go Hogs! Those are really good. Do you ever see "Bubba Hog" at the games? He would be funny to photograph.

Again, nice shooting!
