The CondyPet Parlour of Craic!
So, my fellow failures ... Tupperware chat continues elsewhere and this is a fresh and fruity (like Ms Claire) proposal to participate in a primary pantheon of photography.
I (or a minion) will offer a small everyday creative task that one and all can indulge in. There are no rules other than My Word, which will always be dealt out fairly. Timings are based on Greenwhich Mean Time which is the only time that counts in this world we call 'POTN Village'.
Past precident of 'perfect and harmless fun' projects such as 'fine feathery friend/food' and 'Interesting: Artist, Idiot, Exhibitionist' teaches us that there are many an upright member unable to follow a simple 'intuitive' instruction, i.e. a direction one 'feels' and pursues, rather than one that is clearly understood and followed like a Lab Rat or a Hampster/Wheel combo might.
The direction this time will thus be presented clearly for the foolish and headstrong. I realise that many are not of autodidact level, but we so want to be inclusive of the daft one's here present too ... for there are many amongst our kind :-)
INSTRUCTION
1. You are given a one word subject 'project' to undertake each evening
2. Within a 24 hour period you shoot shots of any quality and taken anywhere
3. You abandon attachment to approval or rejection: this is KEY!
4. You present your chosen contribution for the craic of this little sub-community :D
5. Projects will overlap across timezones so let it go, don't try and control time
6. There will be no judging as such ... the winning fool should be obvious each day
7. All may comment and so judge subjectively
8. All those lacking in humour are banned, unless they submit to ribbing easily
9. Any complaints then you know exactly where to kiss: MC CyberD's ring of office!
10. Project may be fulfilled clothed or bare, tho' shots must always be 'decent'
So, we have project announced each evening GMT, you go shoot, you post ... end of story; then communal craic ;-) YOU UNDERSTAND y'all?
Between 11.00pm today and 11.00pm tomorrow the project subject is SCARY
All about the ship of FOOLS for we sail the sea of creative endeavour together ... as one united in daftery and spotty a*sed tom-foolery/rudery :p

(BTW, I think Maria may be mad at me because I have given her some honest, constructive an insigtful feedback on her images, as opposed to reflexive "good work, thank you for sharing". )

Whew - you guys keep me busy with the dictionary:
1. Craic
Irish word for fun/enjoyment that has been brought into the English language. usu. when mixed with alcohol and/or music.
'Bhi craic agus ceol againn' : We had fun and music.
Fun doesn't really cut it though. General banter, good times had by all.
Also, a person who is good fun/great company.
It was great craic.
She's great craic when she gets going.
He's great craic when he has a few pints on him.
What's the craic?
How's the craic?
The craic was mighty.
Note: Very tricky to get away with saying this in the US without getting strange looks for police officers.
