i was really looking forward to these shots when i saw what u were using, but, at least for me, that soft focus trick doesn't work for me... i feel the shaper the better (and you definitely have the equipment for it)

I agree, I like the thinking behind what you have done though. The images themselves look very good - would love to see the originals posted!!
